  2. An Oasis is a place with water that nomad can drink and eat.
  3. The Atacama desert in south America the driest place in the world.
  4. Many desert plants can live to be 100 year's old.

    This is really interesting! When I found out that the Arctic was a desert as well that took me some time to figure out, because I thought deserts had to be made of sand! - Uncle Pete
